About Us
XLN Audio is a Swedish music software company located in Stockholm. Since the company was founded in 2004 by Niklas Möller and Lars Erlandsson, XLN Audios's main goal has been to develop and produce market leading music creation tools for all levels of users.
By 2009 the XLN crew has grown to a team of 6 full time workers, all with a background in music production and creative work. XLN Audio’s main product is the award winning virtual instrument Addictive Drums. Addictive Drums is currently considered one of the leading tools for drum production.
Lars Erlandsson
Lars is one of the owners and founders of XLN Audio, mainly in charge of product development, sales and economy. He has also been involved in all the recording sessions and the sampling of the drums and cymbals in Addictive Drums. He likes coffee, vegetarian food and beer of course.
Niklas Möller
Niklas is the co-owner and founder (together with lars) of XLN Audio and he has worked here since 2004. Niklas is involved with the development of all our products, and is the sound engineer in charge of all our recording sessions. Niklas also does project management, graphic design and marketing.
Martin Eklund
Martin is one of our programmers who joined the XLN Audio team in 2005 to realize the Addictive Drums project. Martins main task was to create the cross platform Graphical User Interface system. Martin is involved in many stages of development at XLN. Basically, he likes creating stuff, not just software.
Mattias Karlgren
Mattias is a programmer and has previously worked with an editor for the portable DJ system Pacemaker at Tonium as well as on both Reason and Record at Propellerhead Software. Mattias is working as a lead developer of XLN Audio's products and is interested in music and development in general.
Andreas Mood
Andreas is the latest addition to the XLN Team as the Content Manager. Andreas previously worked as a Senior Accountant for a Media/Research company. He also has a background as a songwriter and producer for Warner/Chappell Music and is still signed and active. Andreas has been playing drums on and off since he was 3 years old, in bands and in studio since he was 14. Music is a central part in his life.
Markus Höglund
Markus started working at XLN Audio back in november 2007. Markus mainly works with web programming, web design and IT. Whenever a computer crashes or a hard drive needs rescuing Markus gets a big grin on his face and knows he is in for a treat. He also is involved in everything from beta testing, promotion and logistics to assisting Tore on difficult support cases.
Tore Jarlo
Tore has worked for XLN Audio for two years, handling customer support, testing and artist relations. If you've ever contacted us, chances are you've spoken to Tore once or twice. Tore also spend time editing sounds and handling webshop orders. When he is not at the XLN Audio office you'll probably find him in the studio making house music.
Jakob Möller
Jakob is the drummer in the XLN Audio team and has been working with Addictive Drums since near the start of the project. He has been involved with the development of all our products and has selected, tuned and sampled all of the drumkits and cymbals in Addictive Drums and the ADPaks. Jakob has also recorded all of the MIDI beats and grooves included in our products.
