Realistic Response

The Hihats in Addictive Drums have all been sampled with different openness and stroketypes. Playing an electronic hihat connected to Addictive Drums 1.5 gives you very realistic results!

We have sampled the sound of a cymbal being choked and put it into Addictive Drums giving you very realistic cymbal chokes on your E-Drums. Instead of the sound being chopped right off you can acctually hear the faint ring of the choked cymbal.

The positional sensing technology senses where on the E-Drum pads you hit them and triggers different samples enhanching the realism. If you hit the snare pad for example in the middle of the pad a regular snare drums sample will be played but if you hit it closer to the edge an edge snare drum sample will be played.

We use alternating samples for all the drums and cymbals in Addictive Drums. This means the same sample never gets played twice in a row reducing the “machine gun effect” and adding to the realism.

Individually edit the velocity response of all the kit pieces with this feature to the settings you prefer. Bring the velocity down on the ride and bring it up on the snare for example. Take the control further and edit the velocity response for each stroke type aswell.

To add to the realism we have put real samples of footchicks in Addictive Drums that triggers when you close the E-Drum pedal. This makes for very realistic playing and drum sound.
