About Us

XLN Audio is a music software company located in Stockholm, Sweden. Since the company was founded in 2004, XLN Audio's main goal has been to develop market leading music creation tools that are inspiring, powerful, and easy to use.
XLN Audio's main product is the award winning virtual instrument Addictive Drums. Addictive Drums and its content add-ons are considered by many as the leading tools for drum production.

Lars Erlandsson
Lars is one of the owners and founders of XLN Audio. He is mainly in charge of product development and strategic direction, but has also been involved in many of the recording sessions for Addictive Drums. Used to make a living writing and producing music, and still tries to find time to play around in the studio. He likes coffee, vegetarian food and beer of course.

Niklas Möller
Niklas, or Nick, is the co-founder of XLN Audio and is the recording & mixing engineer of the original Addictive Drums sounds. His primary focus at XLN Audio is strategic direction, product design and recruiting. As Nick Ellis, he is also a songwriter and recording artist! Andy has also written songs for Warner Chappell, Sony ATV, Universal Music, The Discovery Channel and the WB network to name a few. His songs have appeared on albums worldwide including Spain's 2006 Album of the Year "Me Siento Viva" by Rosa.

Thomas Larnhed
Thomas started at XLN Audio in August 2011 and works with project management and product development. He has a long background in the "regular" IT industry, most recently as a development manager at ICA Sweden. He has also worked for Microsoft, Cap Gemini among others. A trained sound engineer from SAE, he spends most of his spare time in his own little project studio or trying to beat his son in FIFA11.

Andreas Mood
Andreas is Content Manager and in charge of all content related stuff here at XLN Audio. Andreas previously worked as a Senior Accountant for a Media/Research/Employer Branding company. He also has a background as a songwriter and producer for Warner/Chappell Music. Andreas has been playing drums on and off since he was 3 years old, in bands and in the studio since he was 14. Music is a central part in his life.

Martin Eklund
Martin is one of our programmers and joined the XLN Audio team in 2005 to realize the Addictive Drums project. Martin's main task was to create the cross-platform Graphical User Interface system. Martin is involved in many stages of development at XLN. Basically, he likes creating stuff, not just software.

Mattias Karlgren
Mattias is a programmer and has previously worked with an editor for the portable DJ system Pacemaker at Tonium as well as on both Reason and Record at Propellerhead Software. Mattias is working as a lead developer of XLN Audio's products and is interested in music and development in general.

Markus 'Majken' Höglund
Majken started working at XLN Audio back in november 2007 and works with web programming, web design and IT. He also helps Tore on complex support cases that involves the user database or license handling. In his spare time he writes articles for swedish music magazine Studio and hunts achievements on Xbox 360.

Tore Jarlo
Tore has worked for XLN Audio since 2007, handling customer support, testing and artist relations. If you've ever contacted us, chances are you've spoken to Tore once or twice. When he is not at the XLN Audio office you'll probably find him in the studio making house music.

Staffan Gustafsson
Staffan joined the XLN team in 2011 as Content Project Manager. He mainly focuses on developing new ADpaks and MIDIpaks. Before joining XLN he ran a music and sound production company. When he needs to clear his mind you'll find him on his deadly fast bike, his snowboard or skateboard, depending on the season.

Markus Dimdal
Markus is our new resident physicist... As a software developer, he enjoys working with algorithms, numerical analysis, dsp programming, and audio synthesis. He's been known to collect audio file formats as others collect stamps - some of his prior work can be found at www.fmjsoft.com. He also maintains our content tools. Favorite pastimes include researching and collecting Swedish Art Nouveau ceramics, listening to music, sampling fancy microbrewery beer, growing orchids, and building Lego with his son.

Kim Lindberger
Kim joined XLN in 2011 and is the perfect mix of audio engineer and computer wiz for his position: keeping the wheels oiled in the XLN content factory. This includes audio editing, keeping track of thousands of files, improving our custom tools and much more. Kim likes Linux, Dvorak and General MIDI.
