Payment Security

To comply with the high security requirements set up by Visa and Mastercard we use a hosted payment service. This means that the actual payment and credit card data is not handled or stored on our server but directly by DIBS (http://www.dibs.se), our payment service provider.

When you enter your credit card number the data is sent through a secure connection directly to DIBS. If the purchase was successful we get a message back from them telling us to create the necessary licenses, receipts and e-mails.

The hosted payment service we use from DIBS is fully PCI DSS compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

The XLN Audio webshop also supports 3-D Secure. 3-D Secure is a cooperation initiated by the major banks and credit card companies of the world to increase the security of internet shopping. It is a voluntary service provided to credit card holders that allows them some extra security against possible fraud. If you have applied for your credit card to be part of 3-D Secure you will have received a code. This code will be used when buying with your card. If you have not applied for 3-D Secure you can still purchase products in our webshop.
