how do i delete the demo?

how do i delete the demo from my mac...i tried to remove the plugins from vst, etc. but nothing is there...this is driving me crazy that i'm so stupid i can't figure out how to remove this...help plz

I'm afraid that the Addictive Drums Demo doesn't come with an uninstaller, so you will need to remove it manually.

MANUAL UNINSTALL MAC:

Delete the AD plugin files:
<Macintosh HD>/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins/Addictive Drums.dpm
<Macintosh HD>/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Addictive Drums.vst
<Macintosh HD>/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Addictive Drums.component

Also delete the Addictive Drums folders in these paths:
<Macintosh HD>/Library/Application Support/
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/

If you go to the Windows Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs you should be able to uninstall the Addictive Drums demo there. If the full installer says that there are still files left, try this as well:

- Choose startmenu/Run, then write "regedit" and click ok. The Registry Editor opens.

- remove the folder "XLN Audio" under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

- remove the folder "Addictive Drums" under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

- Close the Registry Editor.

- Run the installer again.

Hey, i tried to uninstall my AD demo but that uninstall.exe wont work, so i deleted all the folders and the files on my drive(C:) but when i tried to reinstall it, it says "a previous installation of addictive drums have been found the installation needs to be removed before you can go on with the new installation"

how to fix this?

By "tried that" do you mean that you were able to find those folders and remove them?

If you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, then the registry keys will be located in other paths. See below:

- Choose startmenu, search for the program "regedit" and run it.

- remove the folder "XLN Audio" under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\

- remove the folder "Addictive Drums Inno Setup_is1" under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

- Close the Registry Editor.

- Run the installer again.
