AD in garage Band

Hello everybody,

I seriously want to buy the AD package plus extensions , I find that really interesting , however I just noticed that it doesn't work for all the garage band versions.... I do have the latest one and the fact that AD doens't work on it just bothers me a lot.

I'm gonna try to record some stuff with AD but I want to purchase it basycally for playing the drums ( normal Vdrums) with a realistic sound.

could you be so kind to tell me what can I do to run AD in the current GB version ?

PS : Just wanna thank the AD team for the amazing work they did, it is jsut amazing how well done are all the sounds... nothing to do with the irrealistic sounds from the V drums from roland....

Hi,

I'm really sorry for the slow reply. I just tested Addictive Drums 1.5.1 in GarageBand 09 and it seems to be working fine. Could you tell me more about your problem? Any error messages? Which OSX version are you running?

Having same issue with Garageband 09. I've installed the demo version and 09 does not recognize the vst in the list of available plugins.

Have you tried this guide? It's a bit tricky to load third-party virtual instruments in GarageBand:
