Hey ED. Thanks for confirming that I'm not losing my mind. At least on this one.
I can't be certain, but I'm near certain that when I originally installed AD (on this w7/32 install) I used the addictive-drums-v1-5-2.zip file. I know that I had that file available at the time, and can't imagine I'd have started with the v1 disk.
So that should eliminate the possibility you suggest.
Just before, I reinstalled AD from another version of addictive-drums-v1-5-2.zip that I just downloaded. That didn't solve the problem. BUT....
I didn't fully uninstall AD... all I did was rename its installation folders so as to hide it from the reinstall process. But that leaves that leaves registry settings, I know.
Now that I know it's not me being dense and that it really is behaving funny, I'll do a full uninstall then try again.
