Many people have been blown away by the great piece of music heard in the INDIE ADpak promo video – everyone at the XLN office has been humming “Gone Gone Gone” for a couple of weeks now. The song in the video is called "Gone Gone Gone" performed by the 2-piece constellation Björk & Toffe. (David Björk and Christoffer Gustafsson) XLN remixed the song with the drums from the INDIE ADpak and did a video edit.
We collected a few questions from people who have contacted XLN with interest of the band and shot them over to Christoffer Gustafsson:
I love the effective structure of "Gone Gone Gone". It’s just bang on. Not a single dead second. Please tell us more about the track.
That's how we like our songs to be perceived! We started this band because we wanted to make pop songs with just the essentials. We focus on strong melodies and loud guitars, two minutes maximum.
What's next? Are there any upcoming releases?
A lot of exiting things going on! We're working a lot in our studio in Stockholm, Sweden, mainly focusing on our Swedish solo projects right now. David’s solo project is called "Sol" (In English: "Sun") which isn't released yet and I go under my own name Christoffer Gustafsson and have released two EP’s in 2011. All the songs are in Swedish.
What's your experience of Addictive Drums™ and INDIE ADpak?
We use it a lot and it’s such an outstanding tool for drums! The latest EP I released is Addictive Drums all the way through and David is using it in his project too.
