How to load XLN Audio plug-ins in Cubase on Windows

First of all you need to make sure that Cubase is scanning your XLN Audio plug-in folder:

  1. Load up the XLN Online Installer
  2. Go to the Installation Paths window
  3. Make a note of the VST64 plug-in path
  4. Load up Cubase and go to Studio -> VST Plug-in Manager
  5. Click the cogwheel in the bottom left to show the VST Plug-in Path Settings
  6. Click the [+] button and add the path from step 3
  7. Now you're ready to load the plug-in

Loading an instrument plug-in (Addictive Drums, Addictive Keys, XO):

  1. In the top menu, go to Project -> Add Track -> Instrument
  2. Click the instrument drop-down menu and select the plug-in you want to load, then click Add Track.
  3. In the Inspector panel on the left side, click the keyboard icon to open up the plug-in interface.

Loading an effect plug-in (DS-10, RC-20, Addictive Trigger):

  1. Select the track that you want to add the effect plug-in to
  2. Click the Audio Inserts button in the Inspector panel
  3. Double-click on the plug-in you want to load


How to load XLN Audio plug-ins in Cubase on macOS

Loading an instrument plug-in (Addictive Drums, Addictive Keys, XO):
