Hosts, officially supported (minimum version):
When a host is officially supported it means we actively test and fix issues for that specific host. Addictive Drums will work in most available hosts on the market, but we can't guarantee compatibility for other hosts.

Hosts, lightweight (good for E-Drumming):
These hosts are free, have a minimum of features, load very quickly and are known to work well with Addictive Drums. This makes them an excellent choice for e-drumming where all you need is a host with low latency audio and MIDI input.

Unsupported hosts
Addictive Drums will work in most hosts that support the VST or AU standards. However, XLN Audio only actively tests and provides customer support for the hosts in the "Supported hosts" list above. If your host of choice is not in that list, we recommend downloading the Addictive Drums demo to make sure it works as expected, before purchasing Addictive Drums.
Please note that we cannot provide support for unsupported hosts!

Compatability to other models (not in the list above)
If your kit / model is not in the list above, there is still a very big chance that Addictive Drums v1.5 Adrenaline will work for your kit. All E-drum kits that can send MIDI data are compatible with Addictive Drums v1.5 Adrenaline. You can start from a preset that is similar to your setup, and then change it to be appropriate for you. When you have made your own custom settings, you can save them as a Map Preset and have it accessible to load up in a second!
