Who is eligible for the discount?
Users of the Addictive Drums 2 Fairfax Vol. 1 Demo version are eligible for the discount. To view your discounted price, log in to your XLN Audio account.
Note: Addictive Drums 2 Fairfax Vol. 1 Demo version is not the same as the 10-day full functionality trials for Addictive Drums 2 currently available for new users.

When is the Demo being discontinued?
We haven't set an exact date yet, but it will happen later this year, 2026. We'll communicate that clearly when we do.

Why is the demo version of Addictive Drums 2 being discontinued?
The legacy Addictive Drums 2 Demo is being discontinued as part of our transition to a more modern and consistent trial system.
We now offer a 10-day trial that gives access to a few Addictive Drums 2 ADpaks, providing a more complete and up-to-date way to try the instrument before purchasing.
This change allows us to better maintain and support a single trial system going forward.

What is the demo version of Addictive Drums 2?
The Addictive Drums 2 Demo was a legacy demo version that we previously offered for users who wanted to explore our product Addictive Drums 2. Unlike our current 10-day trial, the demo version had no usage time limit.
While the demo included the core Addictive Drums 2 experience, it offered a more limited selection of presets and playable kitpieces compared to the full version.
A few years ago, we retired the old demo system in favor of our current 10-day trial format, which provides access to the version of Addictive Drums 2 with a few ADpaks for 10 days.
Users who had already installed the legacy demo version have still been able to access and use it through their XLN Audio accounts and may continue to do so for the time being.

What will happen to my projects using the demo version when it is discontinued?
If you run the XLN Online Installer after the Addictive Drums 2 Demo has been discontinued, Addictive Drums 2 might not load in your old projects anymore. Get the full version of the Fairfax Vol.1 ADpak to continue using your old projects, or bounce the Addictive Drums 2 Demo tracks to audio to preserve your songs.
